Terms & Conditions
Narelle Link ABN 15 628 227 193 (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offerings, services, sessions, programs, events, and retreats facilitated by us, whether held in Australia or overseas. By booking or participating in any of our in-person or online services, including but not limited to 1:1 sessions, day events, group workshops, multi-day retreats, coaching programs, or digital content delivery, you agree to the following.
Part A: Core Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
Customer means the person engaging our services, programs, retreats, or events (also referred to as “you”). Services means the sessions, programs, courses, retreats, and events we provide, as described on our website or otherwise communicated to you at the time of booking.
2. Scope of Services
Our offerings are designed for personal development, healing, nervous system regulation, mindset education, energetic alignment, and spiritual transformation, delivered in person (including overseas retreats) and online. We are not offering medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice or services, and any guidance we provide is general and indicative in nature, not directive, and does not amount to counselling, financial, or legal advice. Where you need advice of that kind, you should seek it from a suitably qualified professional.
3. Responsibility & Results
We do not make guarantees regarding specific results, beyond what is required by Australian Consumer Law. Each individual experience and outcome will vary depending on your unique situation, participation, and willingness to engage with the work. We do not claim to diagnose, treat, heal, or cure any condition.
4. Customer Eligibility
Our services are not available to individuals under 18 years of age. The relevant time for determining your age is the time you pay a deposit or fee under these Terms & Conditions.
5. Emotional & Physical Wellbeing
Some content may feel emotionally triggering, confronting, or energetically intense. This is a normal part of growth and healing. You agree to take full responsibility for your own mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, and to request support if needed in a respectful and appropriate manner.
6. Health Disclosure
It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant physical, psychological, psychiatric, or emotional conditions (including past trauma, injury, or medications) that may impact your participation in any session or event. You must update us on any changes, and you warrant that you are medically fit to participate in the program, session, or retreat you have booked. Where discussing a personal matter during a session may pose a risk to you, you must disclose this to us before engaging our services. We may request a clearance from a healthcare professional in certain circumstances.
For retreat bookings, this disclosure is made formally through our separate Wellness Declaration Form, which addresses health considerations specific to the modalities delivered at the retreat (including Dimensional Breathwork™ and ceremonial cacao). Your place is not confirmed until this form has been completed and returned. See clause 28.
7. Confidentiality & Group Agreements
You agree to honour the confidentiality of any personal sharing by other participants in group settings. This includes live sessions, online programs, and in-person events. What is shared in the space, stays in the space. We will keep any personal information you disclose to us in confidence and will not disclose it unless compelled by law.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, including but not limited to training materials, videos, tools, templates, workbooks, retreat content, session frameworks, exercises, and online course materials, together with any strategies, tools, or frameworks we develop or share with you in the course of providing our services, remain our intellectual property. You may not copy, share, modify, publish, distribute, or use these materials outside the scope of this engagement without our written permission.
You are responsible for ensuring that any material you provide to us (including images, data, or other content) is one you hold the necessary rights, licences, and permissions to use. We accept no responsibility for any inaccuracy or infringement arising from material you supply to us, or from instructions or directions you give us.
9. Subcontractors & Additional Facilitators
We may engage subcontractors, freelance support, or additional facilitators where we consider it in your best interests or necessary to our operations. Any service provided this way remains our responsibility and is treated as though provided directly by us.
10. Media Consent
Photos and videos may be taken during live events or online sessions for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to this unless you have provided a written request not to be photographed or filmed. Where a session is recorded as part of a group program or retreat, your participation is deemed consent for that recording (including photos, video, or audio) to be used in future promotional or program material, including evergreen use of retreat or program content.
11. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. You agree to honour your payment plan or upfront fee arrangement. Failed payments must be resolved within 7 days; failure to do so may result in your access to services being paused and your place in a program or retreat being cancelled, until payment is brought up to date. You agree to provide updated billing information if your payment method changes. Where you enter a payment plan through a third-party provider, that arrangement is between you and the provider and is subject to their own terms.
For overseas retreats, see clause 25 (Currency & Payment) for how international payments are handled.
12. Refund Policy
We offer a 48-hour cooling-off period from the time of booking and/or deposit payment. After this period, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or scheduling conflicts. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another Prakāśa Bloom event, session, or program at our discretion. All transfers must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and time limits.
Where illness certified by a medical professional, or another genuine and justifiable reason, prevents you from continuing a program or retreat, you may request in writing that we suspend your participation. Approval is at our discretion; where granted, we will provide a credit toward a future program or retreat rather than a refund.
13. Cancellations & Changes
We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the location, format, or delivery method of any offering due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, venue changes, natural events). If we cancel, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or credit toward a future service. For overseas retreats, this is expanded by clause 24 (Force Majeure: Overseas-Specific).
14. Assumption of Risk & Waiver
You acknowledge that you participate voluntarily and at your own risk, including in relation to practices such as breathwork, ceremonial cacao, and other somatic, energetic, or physical modalities we deliver. For retreats held overseas, this also includes risks associated with international travel, local transport, and activities delivered by third parties engaged on your behalf.
You agree to release and indemnify Narelle Link, Sarah-Jane Porter, and any assistants, employees, or contractors, together with, for overseas retreats, the retreat venue and its staff and any local drivers, transport providers, or excursion/activity operators engaged in connection with the retreat (together, the “Facilitators and Related Parties”), from all claims, demands, or causes of action for any loss, damage, or injury (physical, emotional, or financial) that may occur through participation in any of our offerings, except where prohibited by law.
15. Customer Code of Conduct
You agree to: provide full and honest disclosure of matters relevant to your engagement with us; communicate openly and respond to reasonable requests for information; comply with all applicable laws; and engage with patience and respect toward us, our staff, and other participants.
Our retreats and in-person events are alcohol and drug-free spaces, to protect the safety and experience of the group.
We maintain a high standard of safety, integrity, and professionalism in all our spaces, and we reserve the right to remove any participant (without refund) who behaves in a way that is disrespectful, disruptive, abusive, or violates group agreements, staff boundaries, other participants’ safety, or this Code of Conduct.
16. Legal Structure, Consumer Rights & Governing Law
Prakāśa Bloom – A House for Transformation is operated by Narelle Link as a sole trader (not a registered company). Sarah-Jane Porter is engaged as a co-facilitator in the delivery of our services. All services provided adhere to Australian Consumer Law, including your right to fair treatment, accurate descriptions, and a safe experience. You are entitled to remedies if services fail to meet consumer guarantees, and nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits those rights.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. This applies regardless of where a service, session, program, or retreat is physically delivered, including retreats held overseas.
17. Marketing & Communications
By subscribing to our mailing list, or by booking a service, program, retreat, or discovery call with us, you consent to receive relevant communications from us about our services. You may unsubscribe or opt out at any time using the link provided in emails or by contacting us directly.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Where changes are made, we will notify Customers with an active booking or program. Continued engagement with our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
We are under no liability for any failure to carry out any part of this agreement caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
19. Contact & Support
If you have questions about your participation, medical concerns, accessibility needs, or refund requests, please contact us directly at hello@prakasabloom.org. For overseas retreats, see also clause 27 (Emergency Contact) for the additional in-country contact requirement.
Part B: Overseas Retreat Addendum
This Addendum applies in addition to Part A for any retreat held outside Australia, wherever in the world it takes place.
20. Travel Insurance
We strongly encourage all guests attending an overseas retreat to hold comprehensive travel insurance, including cover for overseas medical treatment and medical evacuation. We recommend arranging this as early as possible after booking. We are not responsible for any cost, loss, or delay arising from your decision not to hold travel insurance.
21. Visa & Passport
You are responsible for arranging and holding any visa required for entry into the country where the retreat is held, and for checking your passport meets that country's entry requirements, including any minimum validity period beyond your travel dates. We are not responsible for any cost or loss arising from a visa or passport issue.
22. Flights & Travel Arrangements
Flights to and from the retreat destination are not included in the retreat price unless expressly stated in writing. You are responsible for booking and managing your own travel to and from the retreat venue. We will provide a recommended arrival and departure window ahead of the retreat; travel outside this window is at your own discretion and cost.
23. Local Laws & Conduct
You agree to comply with all local laws, customs, and regulations of the country in which the retreat is held, for the duration of the retreat. You are responsible for your own conduct outside the organised retreat program.
24. Force Majeure: Overseas-Specific
Neither party is liable for delay, cancellation, or failure to perform any obligation under this agreement where this is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disaster, earthquake, volcanic activity, tsunami, flooding, political unrest, government travel advisory, airline disruption, or pandemic-level illness outbreak.
Where we cancel or materially change the retreat due to such an event, you will be offered the choice of a credit toward a future offering, or a refund of amounts we are able to recover from our suppliers, less any costs already reasonably incurred on your behalf. This clause does not cover the cost of your flights or personal travel arrangements. This is why we strongly encourage travel insurance (clause 20).
25. Currency & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change in line with third-party suppliers, exchange rate movement, and other circumstances beyond our control. If you make payment from outside Australia or in a foreign currency, you are responsible for any international transfer fees, currency conversion fees, or exchange rate movement. We will not adjust the amount owing to account for currency fluctuation.
26. Free Time & Independent Excursions
During any unstructured or free time outside the organised retreat schedule, you participate in independent activities at your own risk. Our responsibility is limited to the organised program as set out in the retreat itinerary.
27. Emergency Contact
You must provide the name and contact details of an emergency contact (next of kin or equivalent) prior to departure. This is in addition to, and separate from, the general enquiries contact in clause 19.
28. Wellness Declaration
In addition to this agreement, all retreat participants are required to complete and sign our separate Wellness Declaration Form prior to their deposit being confirmed. This form addresses specific health considerations relevant to the practices delivered at the retreat, including Dimensional Breathwork™ and ceremonial cacao. Your place on the retreat is not confirmed until both this agreement and the Wellness Declaration Form have been completed.
